Our Executive Search Methodology
In ASTERI, we use a very comprehensive, in depth and time tested methodology to Executive Search that adopts a Client focus, collaborative and consultative approach. The process begins with a thorough understanding of our Client's Business Goals, Problems and Needs which will, in the process, also require our consultants / associates to appreciate the client's unique organization structure, culture, team dynamics, financial and operational issues.
Our search process may be described in the following broad strokes:
STAGE 1: Understanding Client's unique hiring needs
- Understanding Client's specific business Goals, Challenges and Needs which will also include Client's unique organization culture and dynamics.
- Consult with Client and obtain clear understanding of the specific position responsibilities including KPIs, reporting structure, compensation structure, hiring budget and profile of the desired candidate.
STAGE 2: Research and Search
- Industry research followed by establishment of a search plan for the assignment.
- Implement search process.
STAGE 3: Candidate Identification
- Using a combination of our industry wide network, internal database as well as the results of our research, we will identify and target our candidate sources. Incorporated herewith, where applicable, will also be sources identified by client as well as client's internal candidates.
- Screen, evaluate and short listing of candidates.
- Prepare background profiles of short listed candidates and present to Client. All candidates, unless circumstances do not permit, will be referenced checked before presentation to Client.
- Client Feedback on profiled candidates.
STAGE 4: Interviews
- Client and Candidate interview preparation.
- Client and Candidate interview debrief.
- In consultation with Client, shortlist selected finalists for second round or final round interviews.
- Client and Candidate interview Preparation and Debrief.
- Decision on hiring.
STAGE 5: Package Finalization
- Facilitate the negotiation of an appropriate compensation package.
- Provide consultation on industry best practices and unique expatriate hiring requirements when required.
STAGE 6: Executive Transition and Follow Up
- Assist the hired executive in achieving a smooth transition and assimilation into the new organizational environment.
- Seek Client feedback and evaluate satisfaction with hire.
