A senior business consultant, Larry has over 20 years of working experience at senior management level in the Banking & Financial Services industry. He has key competencies in cross-cultural management, strategic planning, and business development. Larry is well versed and knows intimately the intricacies of the operating and business environments of the Asian markets, in particular China and Vietnam, having resided in these latter countries as a career expatriate.

Upon graduation in 1981, Larry embarked upon his Banking career which lasted till 2002 when he left to pursue his entrepreneurial aspirations. During his stint as a banker, Larry acquired a wide range of expertise that included Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Structured Commodity Finance as well as International Trade Finance Operations. In the course of his banking career, Larry was tasked with the responsibilities of opening new markets in the Asian region and through it, acquired an intimate understanding and working knowledge of the business environment in these countries. In the latter years of his banking career, Larry was privileged to be posted overseas by a major Dutch Bank as a career expatriate to countries of Vietnam and China where he stayed a total of 7 years. His last held positions were Director / Country Manager and Regional Country Manager. In the latter position, Larry oversees the operations of 8 offices in 7 cities across China.

Larry left the banking industry in 2002 to embark upon his entrepreneurial aspirations. He started his Business consultancy firm in 2002 first in China and subsequently ventured into the Executive Search business in Singapore in 2003. 

Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science (major in Economics and Sociology) from the National University of Singapore and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the Singapore Institute of Management. In the course of his banking career, he has also received specialized professional training from various world-class institutions such as Harvard Business School, Kellogg Business School, Nijroende University, GAFTA (Grain and Animal Feed Trade Association), Citibank and Euromoney of London. 

Whilst overseas, Larry was an active member of the business community he resided in. In Vietnam, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Dutch Business Group and also a member of the Curriculum sub-committee of the Ho Chi Minh International School. In China, Larry was an elected Executive Committee Member of the Shanghai Business Association for two years running from 2001-2002. He has also given talks in public seminars on topics of banking and finance.

Larry was appointed an Independent Director to the Board of Elec and Eltek International Limited in 2005. He chairs the Audit Committee and is also a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, Elec and Eltek is reputably the largest PCB manufacturer in China today.

Larry is an Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces Reserve Unit.
